The outdoor gym at Memorial Park is small and compact but contains everything you need for a full body workout.
The equipment is adjustable, to suit different user heights, and offers a genuine resistance, very similar to that seen in indoor gym equipment, but not in many other outdoor gyms. The equipment also gives you feedback, so you can check in on your progress each time you visit.
The equipment includes Arm Bike, City Bike, Cross Trainer, Combi 2, Steps, Suspension Trainer, Magnetic Bells and floor markings. The local community are very pleased with the new fitness area. The Council had concerns over whether people would know how to use the equipment but having seen the instruction panels supplied with the equipment, were very happy that the images show clearly how to use it.#
Users also have the QR code which they can scan on a smart phone to see full instructions in video format for more visual guidance.
