Linton Colliery Play Park and Outdoor Gym

With the support of Sports Management Solutions, Ellington and Linton Parish Council were able to raise the necessary funds from CELL Big Local, Suez Communities Trust, Wellesley Trust and Ventient Sisters and North Steads Wind Farm Fund at the Community Foundation Tyne and Wear and Northumberland, and Northumberland County Council’s Community Chest scheme. With this help they were able to look at a new and improved play area for children up to the age of 16 and a for the adults, so both children and parents can enjoy the park together.

The outdoor gym is fitted with equipment equivalent to the quality you would find in an indoor gym, together with a personal trainer in your pocket to ensure the most effective and safe work out.
