Space Travel

WOW: Being an astronaut takes a great amount of physical endurance. The Space Travel theme calls upon children to come and be active by spinning on the planets, climbing on the Galaxy structure, jumping from star to star, doing somersaults on the somersault bars, or getting into the seats before take-off from Earth. Who does not want to be an astronaut?

STAY: The many different activities in this design will turn any suitable outdoor space into an active place to play. Not only can several children explore at the same time, the many social and physical challenges will also keep them active for an extended time period.

DEVELOP: Physical play is important for developing a good sense of balance, muscle strength, coordination skills, and good health. The benefits of physical play are vast. Active children are better prepared to absorb learning and will be able to concentrate better after having burned off a ton of energy. The astronomy theme is a good way to learn about the universe, the physics of space, gravity, etc. As the majority of play takes place at ground level, or close to ground level, the design is accessible for children with special needs and disabilities.
