A city devastated by climate changes
The city of Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler has experienced the devastating consequences of climate change. In 2021 parts of the city was flooded by water from the nearby river, ruining public spaces and residents' houses.
As a result, the city council decided that the new playground should have a greener profile. They chose a lower carbon emission GreenLine playground made from like textile, plastic bags and fishing nets.
It is nice that we have created something that is fun for the children, and has a low carbon emission impact.
