A city devastated by climate change

The city of Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler has experienced the devastating consequences of climate change. In 2021 parts of the city were flooded by water from the nearby river, ruining public spaces and residents' houses.

As a result, the city council decided that the new playground should have a sustainable profile. They chose a low-carbon emission GreenLine playground made from waste materials like textiles, plastic bags, and fishing nets.

It is nice that we have created something that is fun for the children and has a low carbon emission impact.

An educating playground

Besides teaching fundamental life skills through play, this GreenLine playground also educates children on sustainability. GreenLine playgrounds are low on carbon emissions by being made from recycled waste like textiles, plastic bags, and worn-out fishing nets.
