New city centre in Grindsted
While still respecting the original architecture in the city of Grindsted, the municipality of Billund wanted to create a new and attractive urban space. The main objective was to attract more visitors to the city center and to invite visitors across generations to stay longer, and in that way strengthen the city’s business life and the overall activity level in Grindsted. The final solution became a narrative play course that unfolds a story as you go down the street. Children can climb up the play tower and across the bridge for hours of outdoor fun.
