The Butterfly Double is a transparent, social climbing magnet for children. The elegantly curved wings and their twisted climbs invite climbing try-outs again and again. The blue membranes accentuate the shapes and climbing journeys possible and add a central meeting spot in the intriguing climb-scape. There are rich physical challenges in climbing the twisted nets or accessing faster via the Curved Climbers. Climbing the Butterfly trains cross-coordination and balancing techniques, which stimulate the child’s ability to control movements, and ultimately to move confidently through the world. Thanks to the transparency of the Butterfly nets, the children can see each other and communicate across the Butterfly, and from ground level to top. On ground level communication is made possible across the ground with the talking tubes, a highly intriguing play detail for children. Two blue, swaying Loops invite fun meetings, two, four or more together. For the sense of wonder, three Optic Panels inspire talks thanks to the moiree effect patterns: they look different depending on how children focus, which adds to talks and logical thinking skills.

Kvalitet som håller länge
Roterande optiska paneler på två 7 mm tjocka polykarbonatplattor med 40 mm avstånd. Det grafiska trycket på insidan består av ett lager med motiv och ett externt transparent skyddsskikt. För att undvika att trycket bleknar stabiliseras både polykarbonatpaneler och den vattenbaserade lacken.
Hangout Pod är utformad med en svetsad ram av två varmgalvaniserade samt pulverlackerade stålringar. Membranet består av ett friktionssäkert gummimaterial av samma kvalitet som transportband och med utmärkt UV-motstånd.
De färgade stålkomponenterna är varmförzinkade och har en pulverlackerad finish. Detta säkerställer korrosionsskydd i alla klimat och väderförhållanden. De andra stålytorna är varmförzinkade inuti och utanför med blyfri zink.
Corocordrep med 19mm i diameter eller mer är av en speciell "Hercules"-typ med förzinkade stålvajrar av sex trådar. PES-garn ligger tätt snurrat och fastsmält kring varje tråd, vilket gör repen mycket resistenta mot slitage och vandalism.
Corocords S-klämmor används som universella anslutningar i Corocord-produkter. Stavar i 8mm rostfritt stål med rundade kanter pressas runt repen med en speciell hydraulisk press, vilket gör dem till det perfekta fästet: säker, hållbar och vandalismsäker, samtidigt som den tillåter den typiska rörelsen i nätstrukturerna.
Repet är fastsatt på det stora stålröret med en unik uppsättning designad av KOMPAN. Den består av en inre och en yttre bussning av nylon (PA6) som leder repet genom en gängad aluminiumdel som drar åt repet.
