Webinar description

Nature Deficit Disorder is a term coined to describe the deprivation of nature exposure and experience. Many children are deprived of basic nature life skills when growing up in an urban environment, and research shows that nature experiences are hugely beneficial for their health and well-being. Join this webinar to learn about the natural experiences children need to grow, the ways design can support this and discover fascinating cases of natural play environments in cities and schools with nature playground equipment (eg. climbing trail play equipment made from Robinia) that complement the surroundings.
