Quality that lasts
All organic Robinia products by KOMPAN are made of Robinia wood which is sourced from sustainable plantation farms. On request it can be supplied as FSC® Certified (FSC® C004450).
The paint used for coloured components is water-based, which is environmentally friendly and has excellent UV resistance. The paint is compliant with Australian Standards.
Play activities are manufactured in high impact resistant materials. This includes; HDPE-plate with HDPE-clock with conveyer belt rubber hands, the bell in pressed aluminium and mirror in plexiglass with a high impact resistant.
Numbers & letters plate and clock/bell plate are made of 19mm EcoCore™ which is a highly durable, eco-friendly material, which is not only recyclable after use but also consists of a core produced from 100% recycled material.
The shafts for abacus are in stainless steel, and the abacus beads are injection-moulded nylon (PA). The two-sided black chalkboard is in ceramic steel.
