A cost effective, long lasting Robinia wood playground within walking distance of the residents new homes.
We submitted a competitive tender, having worked with the customer previously and they had been impressed with our product range, service and costs.
KOMPAN were provided with a LEAP plan which had previously been created by a landscape architect for the planning application of this development. Bellway Homes asked KOMPAN to tender and include all the play equipment specified including street furniture and log round fencing.
The scheme includes mainly timber equipment with some steel items. The equipment was carefully selected to provide a wide range of play values and to be built from long lasting materials, taking into consideration cost implications to be as cost effective as possible. Also included were high quality grass mats to provide a natural yet robust safety surface.
The scheme provides a highly versatile, easily accessible play space for the new community to enjoy, a place where children can develop, learn and grow, whilst making new friends in the local area that is within walking distance of their new homes.
KOMPAN attended an open event hosted by Bellway / Ashberry Homes supplying goody bags and speaking to the residents. They were very pleased with the end result and them children thoroughly enjoy their new play space.
