For our children and our planet

Sustainably conscious playgrounds

For a company like KOMPAN, more than 80% of carbon emissions come from the raw materials we use. So, we have dedicated our efforts to lowering our carbon emissions by using more sustainable raw materials. The result we aim for - playgrounds that do not harm our planet.
Let's be sustainably conscious

There are 2 ways to go

2. Playgrounds that are 'made green'

Playgrounds made from KOMPAN's specially developed green materials. We use recycled waste sources within our materials to produce play products with a low carbon footprint.

1. Playgrounds that are 'born green'

Playgrounds made with nature's own materials - also known as nature playgrounds. For these products, we use Robinia wood from sustainable forestry. You can even choose to go greener with FSC certified wood.

We've made it easy for you

All KOMPAN playground products come with a calculation of the product's carbon emission footprint. This way, you can easily see just how much carbon emission has been derived in the production of it. All our calculations are verified by a third party - that is your proof that our sustainability claims are truthful.

A playful tree sort

The Robinia tree is crooked and whimsical in its look. Robinia bark has deep lines that make the trees look rustic and wise.

Sustainable forestry

Robinia grows faster than any other tree sort and is harvested from sustainable forests in Europe.
