The Waterlilies Balance Post adds a nice gathering point to the play area. With its floral shape, the Waterlilies Balance Post will accommodate play items that children bring to the playground. Toddlers often bring their favorite toys to the playground, and the possibility of storing them is always welcome. The Waterlilies Balance Post functions very well as a point for creative experiments, for instance building with sand. Last but not least, the Waterlilies Balance Post can function as a balancing post or a seat, too.

The overall framework applied for these factors is the Environmental Product Declaration (EPD), which quantifies "environmental information on the life cycle of a product and enable comparisons between products fulfilling the same function" (ISO, 2006). This follows the structure and applies a Life-Cycle Assessment approach to the entire Product stage from raw material through manufacturing (A1-A3).
