A wooden gold mine
WOW: The Gold Rush design brings history into the present day, using natural wood materials that contrast against the backdrop of modern, urbanised society.
STAY: The varied areas, play equipment and surfaces invite different activity levels and different play scenarios. This makes the playground appealing for children of different age groups. Dig in the sand and rinse the sand away in the water to find small gold pieces by the sand and water play set. Edges and sitting areas give parents and grandparents the opportunity to be part of the activity.
DEVELOP: The gold rush theme will teach children history while developing their different physical and social skills. This playground solution is inclusive to children of all abilities.
