From pool to play: enhancing the leisure centre experience
A brand new leisure centre was constructed and we were selected to design, supply and install the new play area to fit within a certain space on the plan, with a set budget. This space was required to be small but perfectly formed, with an array of play types and activities, brightly coloured equipment and an overall high level of durability and accessibility for all.
KOMPAN were given a brief to include lots of different opportunities for play for all types of children. This area is perfect for some outdoor fun and activity after a swimming or leisure centre session to get some fresh air and time outdoors.
The customer has been incredibly pleased with the final outcome, as are the many families and children that have visited the leisure centre play area since its opening. The final outcome has been an overwhelming successful addition to the leisure centre.
Packed with colour, creativity and play value
The result is a fantastic brightly coloured playground, full of sensory and tactile elements and bursting with new exciting dynamic play features. This site is hugely inclusive and accessible, offering spinning and bouncing, imaginative play, creativity, dynamic and physical play, role play, climbing, balance and coordination, and many more fun things to entertain children to come back time and time again.
