Hammersmith Belle Pub and Restaurant, West London
An imposing and welcoming bespoke multi tower castle themed play unit, nestled within a limited footprint.
The Hammersmith Belle is a beautiful and friendly community pub situated in West London. Being forward thinking they wanted to attract more local families to visit as part of their overall upgrade of the pub. This would then in turn encourage families with young children to visit, spending more time at the venue as well as hopefully more money. Their initial thoughts were for something themed, either a castle or a pirate ship that would instantly excite any young visitors.
Although they had a small area they were looking for a play unit which would include as many different play activities and features as possible, as well as accommodating as many children of various ages as possible at once. The customer preferred steel over timber and any proposal needed to be as maintenance-free as possible.
After a few meetings where our design was changed and tweaked as desired, they decided upon a castle-themed multiplay unit. It includes two tall slides and is packed with play value for all ages and abilities. The project was installed on time with minimal disturbance to the working business. The customer has been really pleased and impressed with the size of the new bold play structure.
The new playground has increased footfall and untapped revenue
Since its opening the pub have been really overwhelmed by the local communities response to their upgrade, receiving some wonderful feedback from visiting families and their children!
The new themed play area has been well received and the pub has already seen a steady increase in footfall from word of mouth and returning families. The new play unit has also allowed the pub to become a venue for castle themed children’s parties adding yet another untapped revenue stream to their business.
