Shipshape Fun for All

Glenarm play park is located along the stunning eastern coastline of Northern Ireland. Positioned overlooking the Irish sea, it is no surprise that a seafaring theme was the order of the day. The play area features a large KOMPAN Robinia Ship together with dolphin springers, sea themed inclusive seesaw and wheelchair accessible roundabout. Awarded for accessibility the play area received a William Keown Trust Prestige Award for being an accessible environment for all abilities. The play park was noted as being extremely well designed, using the contextually responsive nautical narrative in the coastal setting of Glenarm village.

Ahoy there!

KOMPAN's pirate ship playgrounds offer endless hours of thrilling and imaginative activities that will keep children engaged and exploring. The idea of danger adds an exciting element to their adventures, as pirates fall into the same story-generating arena of mythical creatures like ogres, dragons, and ghosts. Just like two pirate captains, no two wooden pirate ship play structures are the same. Each has its unique character and features, thanks to the authentic feel of Robinia wood. These playground sets are full of opportunities to hide, climb, and role-play, helping shape young buccaneers' character, communication skills, and physical development. These voyages of self-discovery offer more than just playtime - they're a journey of growth and exploration.
