Earlswood Leisure Park, Tamworth-in-Arden Parish Council
A space where users of all ages and abilities can learn, interact, imagine and play together.
Tanworth-in-Arden Parish Council contacted KOMPAN looking for assistance in designing a new, exciting play area for Earlswood Leisure Park. Their existing play area was tired and didn’t get much use due to poor accessibility and limited play value.
The Parish Council approached KOMPAN as we offer a wide variety of inclusive play equipment and could design an exciting new accessible play area for the whole community to enjoy.
The final design for Earlswood Leisure Park provided a space where users of all ages and abilities can learn, interact, imagine and play together. Inclusive play equipment such as the nest swing, inground trampoline and wide platform seesaw ensure users of all abilities can play together.
All of the new play equipment was installed onto red rubber mulch surfacing pads linked by a winding Enviropave pathway through the centre of the play area. This provides excellent access for all including buggys and wheelchairs.
The feedback from the community has been fantastic informing us that the new play area has exceeded their expectations and will be thoroughly enjoyed for many years to come!
