Metsola Daycare Centre

Inspired by nature
The daycare centre is set in a stunning natural location, right next to a nature reserve. The playground has been thoughtfully designed to sit comfortably within the landscape, creating a smooth transition between the built space and the surrounding environment. Since the building itself is made from timber, Robinia play equipment was a natural fit for the outdoor area.
Preschool children spend a significant part of their day outside, often heading outdoors several times a day. With this level of use in mind, the playground needed to be both durable and inviting, providing a welcoming space for children and educators to enjoy every day.
"The playground is lovely! We are very close to nature, and these play equipment fit in really well with the environment, which I think is beautiful to look at and wonderful for children."

Play that grows with children - from toddlers to older children
The daycare playground is divided into two distinct zones, one designed for younger children and another for older kids. The clear favourites are the swings and the climbing structure, where children can finish their climb with a thrilling spiral pole slide. Using the spiral pole is not only great fun, it also helps build motor skills that support everyday safety, like navigating traffic. Climbing supports strength development and key motor skills, including cross‑coordination.
