Metsola Daycare Centre

Inspired by nature
The daycare centre sits in a beautiful natural setting, directly bordering a nature reserve. The playground has been designed to blend naturally into this landscape, creating a seamless connection between the built environment and nature. As the building itself is constructed from wood, Robinia play equipment was the obvious choice for the outdoor area.
Preschool children spend a large part of their day outdoors, often playing outside several times a day. With this high level of daily use in mind, the playground was designed to be both robust and inviting, offering a pleasant and welcoming space for children and educators alike.
"The playground is lovely! We are very close to nature, and these play equipment fit in really well with the environment, which I think is beautiful to look at and wonderful for children."

Play that grows with children - from toddlers to older children
There are two separate play areas in the daycare's playground: a play area for little ones and one for older children. The absolute favorites on the playgrounds are the swings and the climbing frame, from which you can slide down an exciting spiral pole. Sliding down the spiral pole is both fun and good for developing motor skills, which prepare children for important situations in life, such as moving safely in traffic. Climbing, on the other hand, is good exercise for muscles and motor skills, such as cross-coordination.
