Kilkeel Nursery reached out to KOMPAN Northern Ireland to upgrade their outdated playground, aiming to create a more engaging space that would support their children's growth. With funds raised by the nursery, they have been able to enhance the physical activity, which they believe is crucial in helping children develop the skills needed for a smooth transition into primary school.

Understanding the nursery's commitment to child development, KOMPAN applied the same dedication when designing the new playground. Backed by research from the KOMPAN Play Institute, we know that well-designed playgrounds can increase children's physical activity by 59% compared to non-KOMPAN playgrounds. By creating a space that encourages active play, the new playground at Kilkeel Nursery will help nurture the children’s physical and social development, perfectly aligning with the nursery’s goals.
