Boyd Hill Nature Preserve

In Florida’s most densely populated county, you’ll find Boyd Hill Nature Preserve with 245 acres of pristine Florida wilderness. The Preserve has roughly 6 miles of trails through a variety of natural habitats that is used for environmental education programmes and school field trips. In the middle of this pristine wilderness, where alligators and birds roam free, you’ll find a KOMPAN wooden Robinia nature-inspired playground. The organic Robinia playground fits perfectly into the wild nature of Boyd Hill Nature Preserve and is often used as part of environmental education programmes for children. The playground's natural materials invite children to learn about nature and how to preserve it, all while having fun and enjoying themselves.

The children love the new Robinia playground, with play towers, wooden play houses, and obstacle course playground equipment which allows them to explore and play anything from hide and seek to obstacle races. The rich variety of activities in the obstacle course help children improve important physical skill, such as balance and cross-coordination skills. The obstacle course also helps children train social-emotional skills, such as cooperation and turn-taking. Spinner plates and Springers can help children from a young age train balance and spatial awareness. The forest shop, with its play counter and sand activities, invites children to come together for hours of fun and creativity.
