Auckland's largest outdoor gym
KOMPAN was asked by Bespoke Landscape Architects for Auckland Council to provide an outdoor gym at Hingaia Park that would meet the needs of the local community and offer free, accessible, high-quality fitness equipment. To ensure the project’s success, KOMPAN had to design and establish a fitness site that would serve as a destination in its own right, given that Hingaia Park is a new development with limited other facilities. Because the community is diverse, the client required equipment suitable for all ages and abilities.

Your local KOMPAN project manager will oversee the entire process on-site to ensure a smooth installation and will keep you updated every step of the way.
6. Final inspection & handover
Once the project is complete, your project manager and the wider team will carry out quality assurance checks and a thorough safety inspection, assessing all equipment, surfacing, and structural elements. After this is completed, we’ll proceed with the handover, providing you with an independent playground audit along with your own maintenance manual and warranty documents.
