In this blog, we sit down with Ben Toussaint, one of our newest Area Managers to hear about his journey after nearly 2 months in the KOMPAN Australia team. Ben is your local in South-West Victoria and Tasmania.

We asked Ben about his experience working at KOMPAN so far, and his overall impressions, here's what he had to say:

On the highlights of his time with KOMPAN so far, Ben mentioned the easy integration he's made with customers and his market thanks to the business' stellar reputation and the wide range of available products:
"Supplying high-quality playgrounds to Australian councils, schools and developers for 40 years has resulted in KOMPAN's sterling reputation. I’ve been helping existing clients who have had great experiences with KOMPAN previously and I am working with plenty of new customers who have seen our equipment in their local parks and won't settle for less.
"KOMPAN’s huge portfolio of products makes it easy for me to respond to briefs. Even after 2 months, I still get a kick out of finding unique products on our website that are exactly what my customers are looking for. And if there's something needed that’s not there, it’s a fast and simple procedure to create it. A bright future of opportunities
When asked about how he sees the future at KOMPAN, Ben was very optimistic and excited:
"I like to think I already have a reputation in the market as a good communicator who understands customer needs when it comes to play, good design practices, and efficiency in working with stakeholders. Now, as a KOMPAN representative, I want to further solidify this reputation, which will no doubt come easy with the support of such an amazing team and brand.
"I want to be known as ‘the first call’ for anyone looking to create effective and attractive play spaces. I’m experienced, honest and creative, and I know that my customers appreciate this.
"In my time at KOMPAN so far, I've never heard ‘Close enough is good enough’. Everyone is always striving to be better than they were yesterday. It's this attitude: to always learn, develop and innovate our equipment and the way we do business that excites me most. I was travelling sideways slowly before joining KOMPAN. I’m now very excited and motivated to develop and progress within the organisation over the coming years."

Ben already feels 'part of the furniture', and didn't hesitate in recommending KOMPAN as an employer:
