Sand Desk with Sand Hoist
The Sand Desk with Sand Hoist is a fantastic attraction in the playground, keeping children absorbed in explorative play for hours. The open design allows for eye contact, cooperation and negotiation across the play piece, stimulating social-emotional skills as well as communication and cognitive skills. The splash basin can hold materials, and the rubber plug can be pulled up to let water stream out of the basin or let go to keep water in the basin. This trains the child's understanding of cause and effect. The funnel can transport materials and evoke a sense of wonder. This explorative play holds a multitude of opportunities for creativity and logical thinking, all stimulating children's cognitive-creative development. The hoist is worked vertically by pulling the chain. The sand shovel will go up or down when pulling the chain. It will stay put when the chain is let go of. This, apart from providing fascinating sand play, is as well a great training of children's logical thinking skills.
