KOMPAN products have enhanced play spaces across the country for more than three decades and this dedicated local presence will enable even greater customer service and speed to market. Matt Grootjen has joined KOMPAN as Managing Director for Canada. Matt began his career in the automotive industry with Toyota and Mercedes-Benz, where he led national research initiatives and helped shape vehicle and technology strategies across Canada. More recently, he transitioned into the world of play and active outdoor solutions, applying his strategic mindset to support healthier, more connected communities. His work has included enhancing public spaces and managing residential retail brands across the country. He is passionate about creating environments that foster movement, play, and a sense of community.
