Exciting new play area opens in Termonfeckin
A mix of equipment has been installed for children of all ages to enjoy. The customer wanted to provide an exciting, inclusive play area that would inspire imaginative and adventure play while encouraging movement and social play. Our design team incorporated a mix of equipment to match the specification brief.
A play area for all ages
The population of Termonfeckin has increased significantly over recent years and there was no structured play facilities for children or teenagers withing the immediate area. The council were keen to solve this by installing a play area for all ages. The new area is accessible by footpath from the centre of the village and is close to the local school and housing estates.
Our new playground provides a safe space for all ages to enjoy – our castle unit encourages social and imaginative play while younger children will love the springers and seesaw units. Our inclusive carousel is accessible to play for everyone, no matter their abilities. The carousel is always busy in any play area and spinning can help children develop their sense of balance and spatial awareness.
