Meadowbrook Playground, Dublin

Meadowbrook is located in Dublin 16 and the new play area was completed in 2025 with equipment to suit toddlers to teens. When designing the new play area we chose equipment from our Robinia range to suit the location of the play area - Robinia is a long lasting natural material that resists decay and harsh weather without needing any chemical treatment which makes it ideal for play equipment.

Our design team worked closely with our custom design team from our head office to create a unique and challenging play unit that reflects the local history and we created our Robinia Mill Wheel Unit - a bespoke unit that offers a variety of play activities and encourages many children to play together.

Bespoke units create a unique play experience for children and the theme for Meadowbrook Playground is based on the 1900s when Pembroke Estate was an operational farm and The Wyckham stream was a millrace (the channel carrying the swift current of water that drives a mill wheel).

Other equipment installed in the play area includes swings, slides, spinning, balancing and climbing units - all of these units help children improve their balance, co-ordination while having fun! As children play they learn about turn taking and co-operation while communicating with other children.

The play area was completed in late 2025 and is a positive addition to the local area as schools, clubs and a leisure centre are all located close to the playground.
