Jeanette Fich Jespersen

Heading up the KOMPAN Play Institute, Jeanette has over 25 years of experience in researching, developing, and doing outreach for playground play. She has spoken at numerous conferences and seminars, and hosted a variety of master classes and seminars on the topic of playground play and design as elemental for the health, well-being and learning of children. She is a passionate play advocate with extensive experience working with Governmental and Non-Governmental level. She has served on several scientific committees and steering boards, including the European Child Friendly Cities Initiative and Child in the City conferences, the International Play Association, Denmark, of which she is the present vice-president, and the World Playground Research Institute at the University of Southern Denmark, as a head of the steering committee. She has also authored and co-authored articles and white papers on her areas of research.
