We use an external service provider which records how many people and who opens the newsletter when the newsletter is opened (date and time), which links are clicked on, whether this takes place from a mobile device or a browser, and the user’s operating system. We receive regular reports with these data points, which we use to analyze which articles newsletter readers click through to. The data are used, among other things, to plan future newsletters, e.g. deciding which stories to feature and the order in which they should be presented in the newsletter.
