Strength and resistance combined

Our Corocord ropes are designed for optimal strength, abrasion resistance and all-weather durability. These ropes are made to withstand vandalism, ensuring longevity and safety in various environments. The ropes are tightly wrapped with EcoYarn™ in >95% post-consumer recycled material, which is melted onto each individual strand. This process enhances the rope’s durability and significantly reduces waste. Corocord ropes are available in eight colours and six dimensions (7mm, 16mm, 19mm, 21mm, 22mm, and 23mm) and cater to different needs while maintaining their environmental benefits. Depending on the size, the ropes have either a steel or fibre core, ensuring optimal application performance — Made Green.

Made from post-consumer recycled waste

EcoCore™ HDPE panels exemplify our commitment. These panels are manufactured from 95% post-consumer recycled waste, including the coloured cap layer. Panels in the colour teal are made from over 95% post-consumer ocean-recycled waste. This waste is collected from the maritime industry, such as fishing nets, ropes and trawl nets. By utilising these materials, we help reduce ocean pollution and support marine conservation efforts — Made Green.

Natural durability and the option for FSC® certification

Our Robinia products are known for their high durability and do not require any chemical wood preservatives. This natural resilience makes robinia wood an excellent choice for outdoor fitness equipment. KOMPAN’s Robinia products also come with FSC® certification (FSC®C004450), ensuring that the wood is sourced from responsibly managed forests — Born Green.

All decks are supported by uniquely designed lower-carbon aluminium profiles with multiple attachment options. The grey-coloured moulded decks are made from 75% post-consumer PP material with a non-skid pattern and texture surface.

Main posts are available in four different materials.

1. Impregnated pine wood with in-ground steel footing.

2. Galvanised steel with powder-coated top finish.

3. Colour-anodised lead-free aluminium, made from lower-carbon aluminium.

4. TexMade™ posts made from >95% post-consumer recycled textile and plastic waste.

Our steel surfaces and steel frames are hot-dip galvanised inside and outside with lead-free zinc. The galvanisation has excellent corrosion resistance in outside environments and requires low maintenance.
