After years of planning and a bold vision, McDonald's Mechelen has been transformed into a true family destination - thanks to a unique, two-storey play area that’s as impressive in design as it is in impact. For franchisee Marc-Olivier Van Apens, this project marked the culmination of 34 years with McDonald’s, and his ambition was clear: to offer customers more than just a meal - an unforgettable experience. With a long-standing partnership with KOMPAN and a strong focus on safety, quality, and innovation, the result is a space that draws families from miles away, boosts children’s menu sales, and sets a new standard for what a modern McDonald’s can be.
