Dartford Central Park

Dartford Borough Council approached KOMPAN to design and install a state of the art outdoor gym facility to replace an existing underused and poor quality gym. They had visited a couple of our previous installations in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets and were suitably impressed.

The equipment that we selected allows users of all ages and abilities to have a full body workout, including low and high-intensity cardio as well as strength, flexibility, mobility, balance and calisthenics. The dedicated cardio equipment (cross-trainer, bike, arm bike) have the ability to adjust the resistance. The on-screen information and app integration allow users to monitor their performance as well as challenge themselves and plan their progress. The magnetic kettlebells and individual strength machines allow users to work all muscle groups and by selecting different weights, people of all different ages will be able to have a successful workout.

The final installation was completed quickly and on budget, and the feedback from the community has been fantastic. People have been using the equipment regularly and it has encouraged users from different demographics to get fit. The facility is free to use and comes with a dedicated app to instruct users on how to use the equipment and suggested workout routines, which went down extremely well with the local community.
