優れた耐久性
高さ100mmの反射型液晶ディスプレイは4桁表示で、屋外でもとても見やすく広範囲から画面を確認できます。液晶ディスプレイは消費電力も少なく、単三電池8つで2年以上使用可能です。
フロントパネルは紫外線安定処理が施されたポリカーボネート製です。UV安定化することでクリアパネルが黄ばむのを防ぎ、機器のパフォーマンスを維持しています。グラフィックプリントは独自のマルチレイヤープリントで、内側の層の画像を外側の透明な層が保護します。水性ラッカーは色あせないよう紫外線安定処理が施されています。
ボタンとそのカバーは高性能素材のポリアミド6（PA6）でできています。ボタンは磁石によって起動される非接触リードスイッチで、システムの耐久性が高くなっています。
コネクタは屋外用特殊合金のアルミダイキャスト製で、鉛含有量は100ppm未満です。コネクタはステンレス製ネジでポストに固定され、特殊設計のジンクワッシャーが腐食を防いでいます。とても頑丈で、経年劣化しにくいのが特徴です。
スピーカーは圧電性で、90㏈の音量が出せます。消費電力も少なく、1.5Vの単三電池8つで2.95Ahの容量をまかなうことが可能です。一度の電池の交換で2年ほど使用できます（使用状況にもよる）が、一年ごとにバッテリーを点検するのがおすすめです。バッテリーは、IP65の防水・防塵性能がある2つのバッテリーボックスに格納されています。
スチール製の支柱は、直径101.6×2mmのプレ亜鉛メッキスチール管でつくられています。パウダーコーティングされており、上部はプラスチックキャップ（PA6）で密閉されています。設置用の基礎は、ISO1461に準拠した溶融亜鉛メッキを施した炭素鋼で製造されています。
