Broomlea Primary School

New staff members at Broomlea Primary School had previously collaborated with KOMPAN in other ASN schools across Scotland. Upon joining Broomlea, they were tasked with exploring options for revitalizing the school’s playground. Already familiar with KOMPAN’s high-quality equipment and reliable service, the school reached out to us to begin the process.

We visited the site to ensure the new inclusive playground equipment could support a wide range of ages and abilities. Through on‑site consultations, we provided tailored guidance on wheelchair accessibility, sensory play elements, and activities that help children self‑regulate. This open and ongoing dialogue with the school proved invaluable, allowing us to focus on what mattered most for Broomlea and its students.

We installed an inclusive swing seat with a supportive harness to provide children with added security, allowing them to experience the joy and freedom of swinging safely. In the video above, you can see one little boy who absolutely loves the inclusive swing—an experience he wouldn’t typically have access to in a public park. Within the safety and familiarity of his school playground, he can now enjoy that sense of adventure!
