The den-like Sputnik is accessed via its steep supportive ropes. This climb encourages muscle use as well as motor skills: children need to cling on tightly to the ropes with their hands and arms, and they need to adjust their feet to the constant movement of all the children in the Sputnik. This helps train agility, balance and coordination as well as timing. These are important skills for building confidence in movement and will support e.g. the ability to judge traffic safety. As the den bounces and moves groups of children can sit, stand, lye and bounce. This supports social interaction and the ability to judge the awareness of others around. The den is fun and exciting enough to attract older children – or even parents!

Kvalitet som håller länge
Corocordrep med 19mm i diameter eller mer är av en speciell "Hercules"-typ med förzinkade stålvajrar av sex trådar. PES-garn ligger tätt snurrat och fastsmält kring varje tråd, vilket gör repen mycket resistenta mot slitage och vandalism.
Corocords S-klämmor används som universella anslutningar i Corocord-produkter. Stavar i 8mm rostfritt stål med rundade kanter pressas runt repen med en speciell hydraulisk press, vilket gör dem till det perfekta fästet: säker, hållbar och vandalismsäker, samtidigt som den tillåter den typiska rörelsen i nätstrukturerna.
Stålkonstruktionen är varmförzinkad in- och utvändigt med blyfri zink. Förzinkningen har bra beständighet mot korrosion och är underhållsfri.
Corocords membran består av friktionssäkert gummerat material av transportbandkvalitet med utmärkt UV-resistens. Testad och kompatibel med REACH-krav för PAH. Inuti ligger en fyraskiktad armering av vävd polyester. Armeringen och de två ytskikten ger en total tjocklek på 7,5 mm.
Corocord aluminiumklämmor fungerar som sammankoppling mellan stålstolpar och rep. Två aluminiumgjutningar skruvas ihop. Höjden på klämmorna varierar därför.
