Playhouse with desk, wood posts

This little playhouse encourages children to develop physically, cognitively and socially. The sand scoop panel consists of two manipulative scoops that can be filled up and then moved along tracks, teaching children about gravity, cause and effect. The port window will help toddlers developing early social interaction skills and because the structure has no floor it will increase accessibility. Panels are accessible from both sides allowing at least two children to play with them at once.

  • Sand scoops: Manipulating the sand cups takes concentration. Children will train their fine motor skills, coordination and understanding of gravity.
  • Port window: This window is at child level and facilitates social interactions. It also encourages dramatic play _ in our tests, children often used it as a ship?s steering wheel!
  • Shop counter: This shop counter has space for many children. When group size increases, children use more language and learn the complex rules of social interaction
