High seas, Higher adventure
Picking up crayons, one of the first things a child will draw is a house or a tree, then they move on to ships. Even through the youngest of eyes, the ship is seen as a vehicle to adventures, of storytelling, of playful escapism. KOMPAN has two distinct ‘fleets’, one the Robinia Ships where we take the individuality of the natural wood to create expansive one-off play features, and then there are the Ships we have here, targeting younger buccaneers with their inviting crisp clean lines.
From the compact Caravelle to the sizeable Intrepid, children clamber on board in search of a piratical adventure, a voyage into the oceans of fantasy that fill their minds. In the process they develop communication, see the need for teamwork and with every story-filled movement, build young muscles and increase bone density. KOMPAN Ships, a playful journey of high adventure on the high seas, and maybe just off the High Street.
