A greener approach to building playgrounds
Our proposal for this play area included equipment from our Made Green product range - these are made of up to 95% post-consumer recycled materials: ocean waste, used textiles, used plastic bags etc. Made Green products have approx. 50% reductions in carbon emissions compared to traditional products made from virgin sources.
The new play area at Kilmore West is location to Youth and Recreation Centres and schools so it was important to ensure the equipment was challenging, fun and encouraged social play.

At KOMPAN we are continuously working to reduce our carbon footprint and are fully committed to providing high quality equipment for all ages - we worked closely with Dublin City Council to provide a solution that is Green and packed full of play value!
With junior and senior units that encourage social play while being fun and challenging! Children of all ages love to swing and within Kilmore West play area there are plenty of opportunities to swing high in to the sky - our inclusive and nest seats have been installed along with our cradle and flat seats.
Our inclusive carousel ensures children of all abilities are included and can enjoy the experience of being involved in the play activity.
The safety surfacing is wetpour with bright colourful images which help increase the play value as children will create their own games using the surfacing.
