The Butterfly Organisation

At KOMPAN it is our mission to take lead of the global market within the playground industry. With this in mind we have created an organisational structure, which can be compared to the appearance of a butterfly. We call it "the butterfly organistion". The butterfly has a small, strong body that helps to direct it towards its goal. It has large wings that create thrust.

At KOMPAN we have placed our international sales organisations, and our logistics and supply chain units in the wings. In the body are our headquarters, situated in Denmark, from where strategy, business, product development, and administration originates. This well-balanced division enables us to keep a tight rein on things and navigate safly and swiftly. In other words - to think global, act local.
