Sydney Olympic Park

 

There was a need for a complete new unique play area at The Overflow near the main entrance to the world famous Main Stadium where the 2000 Olympics ceremonies were held. The stadium is now called the ANZ Stadium.

 

Each site required totally different, modern and stimulating play equipment.

Playground A & B are more urban sites and use GXY & ELE.
Playground C. Is more rural and needed spectacular elevation with good visibility.
Playground D & E are both very natural sites needing dramatic large scale equipment with

good ‘see through’ visibility.

Playground E. COR2500Large Amusement Net. Custom structure built to architects design including sculpted mounds and shade structure. Designed by the project architect who created the whole new park area to add play value and reflect the ‘Play Hills’ theme of the site.

The mounds included in the design reflect the existing man made hills that dominate the surrounds.

Sydney Olympic Park is an ideal location to see many different kinds of playgrounds all using
different kinds of play equipment by Kompan.
