FAULKNER PARK Feature Playground – Belmont

The City of Belmont has created one of the largest and most exciting playground facilities in Western Australia, and with recent extensions it is arguably Perth’s most popular adventure Playground. Based on a ruined village theme, this feature playground provides diversity, intrigue, rigorous and memorable moments.
The playground facility was designed and build to meet the needs of the growing number of local families in the area, and to encourage a sense of community. The facility is providing sustainable recreational development for families and encourages the adoption of a healthy lifestyle. As well as innovative play equipment, the facility caters for the whole family by providing shaded areas, park furniture, barbeques and a near by skate park, thus promoting the family unit to interact and spend quality time together “outdoors”.
The addition of the Toddlers playground in 2007 has introduced a whole new clientele and the playground is busier than ever. The younger children are entertained for hours with the extensive junior equipment from the Moments and Elements range, including the Junior Spica, Spinner Bowl, Tug Boat, Red House, Hopper, Crocodile Bench, Billy Goat Gruff and Mighty Musketeer, Junior Double Swings, freestanding Megaphones and Binoculars. The bright blue softfall supports the access for all design.
