Years of research into children's play have ensured that many considerations go into the design of a KOMPAN playground:
The users are the first consideration: is the playground for toddlers, juniors, seniors? Will both boys and girls find enjoyment in the equipment and will children of different abilities? Is there something for the accompanying adults?
Secondly, how are the physical characteristics of the play area with regards to setting, accessibility, varied activities? - The playground should be exciting, inspiring, challenging and appealing and it should be accessible to ALL...
