Isaberg, Hestra

At the ski resort Isaberg it is the goal to offer something for the entire family. 'First and foremost the children must be active. If they do not perceive our resort as fun the guests are not coming back' tells Kjell-Åke Gustavsson, Vice President of the foundation Isabergstoppen.

When Kjell-Åke came to Isaberg in 2000 there were only a few worn out playgrounds which had to be renovated. In cooperation with the local KOMPAN consultant a long term vision spanning several years was created. The entire project was visualized using 3D renderings which gave a good impression of what the area could look like in the future.

Today Isaberg boasts 3 playgrounds - two for the younger children and 1 for the older. Every year new investments are made in order to make sure that the returning guests can get new experiences every time they visit. The playgrounds are used even in the winter when the children take a much needed break from the slopes.

'It often happens that entire coaches filled with guests stop by just to visit our playgrounds and this only means that we cen be very proud and happy of what we have achieved here' says a very pleased Kjell-Åke Gustavsson.
